Really, it is a great news for the real publishers. It will easily differentiate the good and the bad. Mainly, who are uploading copyrighted content, adult content and others content they will face a big problem. Basically, it is the main purpose to implement new rules. Bardin wrote in her post, “This new threshold gives us enough information to determine the validity of a channel”.
Finally, it is important that the real creative people get value for their work on YouTube, not spammer or scammer. To point out, YouTube started their journey on 14 February 2005. After 5 years in 2012, they started this partner program to share their revenue from the advertisement with the publishers. After experimenting couple of years, YouTube has made this strict rule. By all means, it will not be so easy for all the publishers to start off without quality content. At the end of the day, the crown will get to those who really deserves.
